Pricing is based on a simple concept…
Twice the work for half the cost you can
If it takes 10 minutes for a person to perform this task and minimum wage in your country is $10/hour then one task will cost 40 cents. We then add further reductions by selling a group of tasks per month. More tasks = lower costs per task.
Let me explain….
- 1 person on minimum wage
- 1 hour = $10
- 1 task = 10 minutes or 6 tasks per hour
- $10 / 6 =
1 hour / 10 minutes per task = 6 tasks per hour or $10 for 6 tasks. Factor in “twice as much for half the cost” and you get 12 tasks for $5. Thats $5 divided by 12 tasks = 41.6 cents per task so let’s call it 40 cents per task.
Human cost
If you could hire a person to to this simple task over and over it would cost you the following
- Minimum wage per hour = $10
